Landscape Architecture & Design Process
Initial Consultation
The owners and I visit the site to discuss and gather information as to their vision, likes, dislikes, level of maintenance, budget and planning requirements for the site. I undertake a site assessment including documenting and photographing the site and the surrounding area, assess existing vegetation, views, structures, levels, climate and setting - TO DEVELOP A FULL APPRECIATION OF THE SITE AND ITS POTENTIAL TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE CLIENT.
I look for background information that can be utilised; such as existing site survey and architectural plans are also researched as a basis for the development of the design.
Concept Plan & DA Landscape Plans
Using all the above information, along with the needs of the client, the creative process starts combining all these factors to produce a personalised landscape planting plan.
All our drawings are created in AUTOCAD, Computed Aided Drafting.
